Myron L. Henthorne, 82, of Janesville died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his home. Myron was born on November 24, 1930 in Readstown, WI, the son of Carl and Norma (York) Henthorne. He married Charlotte Bladorn on January 9, 1951. He served in the U. S. Air Force for 20 years from 1950 to 1970 being discharged as a Master Sergeant. He was then employed for 17 years by General Motors. Myron was a member of U.A.W. # 95 and the retired Air Force Sergeants Association.
Myron is survived by his wife, Charlotte, his son, Michael Henthorne of Monroe, six sisters, Beverly (Melvin) Christianson of Janesville, Bonnie (Chuck) Zepke of Edgerton, Marilyn (Bob) Sowle of Cassville, WI, Carla (Lyle) Baez of Madison, Delores (Barry) Ingle of Mesa, AZ, Shirley (Jim) Ryan of McFarland, WI, one brother, Jerry (Joanne) Henthorne of Lodi, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Patricia Lean of Edgerton.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville with Chaplain Stuart McCoy of Mercy Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial park with military honors by a U. S. Air Force Honor Guard. Visitation will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Monday at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home.
